Hello there. I got a haircut. I think it is a little shorter than I thought it would be :p haha. Looks cute tho. Struggles: buns, rice crispy squares (not chewing! dont worry! just swallowing it grain by grain.. it is too sharp, but my boyfriend keeps offering me them and I love marshmallow....) LICKING. I cant lick a bowl or plate or nothin. so tough when we make awesome sundaes!.
Also valentines day + this week, we went out for dinner/lunch. I am not quite at the point of eating politely in public. I felt so self conscious. I eat sooo slow too. We went for bipbimbap on Valentines saturday (if you dont know what bipbimbap is, look it up and find it and eat it NOW -in Victoria you can find it at King Sejong restaurant) Anywho, when we finished eating there, i had a little pile of dropped rice all between me and my bowl :P Its gettin there tho. Seeing surgeon on friday, and he might give me the go ahead to start chewing soft foods. first on my list : yogurt, scrambled eggs, poutine, noodles. Things I've really liked this week: YAMS i could eat them everyday. With a lil butter. mmmmmmmm so good. )

Three Week Mark
Hello. Look what I can do.
I can grimace showing my bottom teeth now. I can smile and my smile looks more natural instead of forced now. I can feel my lips better but I still have to be cautious about hot liquids. I have burnt my lip a couple times.
Also I can open my mouth thiiis big, just over a fingers width. Frustrating, but good progress. I can put a big spoon in my mouth, and when I'm using one to make smoothies I cant really lick it, and my guy is laughing as I'm chasing ice cream around with my mouth. I couldn't get a lil piece of cake in my mouth the other day and I just made a mess everywhere. I don't need a bib anymore, but i need like a paper towel whenever I eat. sometimes I just hold it under my chin.
Its a little tough getting back into the swing of things. I work commission, and I've got a very understanding client, but I still have a project or two I should get back on. Its hard to get up and go on it tho. Reminds me of when I had mono.
P.S. I am sick of mush foods, I've been eating kinda unhealthy (see ice cream 2x day), and taking it pretty cautious cause I have a stupid amount of allergies. I'm going to the store now to buy some root vegetables, squash, edamame, and eggs n curry. mmm curry eggs. I'm just craving some broccoli stems right now.
P.P.S. I still don't sleep well. Its hard to find a position that doesnt lean on my face too much, (I sleep on my side) and I wake up in a enough pain to have to take an ibuprofen almost every morning. bleh :( I'm a bit of a grump when I wake up. Not much fun.

Day 11
Hi! I ate bacon so far, KD, chocolate, prokchop, green beans, meatballs, mashed potato and gravy. Omg gravy. I want all the salty thibgs right now. No idea why. My first real food was chicken strips and fries. Of course I did not in any way chew any of this. Nope nope nope. I put it in the foood processor and spooned it into my mouth with the teeniest spoon. Or melted the chocolate. Or tore of tiny chunks, like no bigger than a sunflower seed. But I cut my nails today, cause long nails are gross. so I might have to be inventive with the tearing chunks thing. Long nails are waaaay gross.
